Welcome to all, it’s good that we are all here.
Good afternoon Robertson Families,
On behalf of the Robertson staff, we would like to welcome our new families as well as our returning families to our fabulous school! Our staff have been in cleaning, setting up and getting ready for the return of our learners!
We have received the provincial document (attached) which outlines the protocols for communicable disease (COVID) in K-12 settings and we are ensuring we are fully aligned. It is our highest priority to keep all students and staff safe. Masks are mandatory for Grades 4-12 and strongly recommended for K-3. Students will not be required to wear a mask outside. We respectfully ask that all students wear their masks when they leave their classroom setting to travel and learn in common spaces (such as hallways and library).
On Tuesday, September 7th, we invite our new students to enter through the front door and meet in the library. They will then be assigned to their grade level group. Our returning students will attend the class they had last year. Reconnecting with their last year’s teacher and their classmates will help to reduce some of the big feelings that come with returning to school.
Classes will be dismissed at 10:25 on the first day of school.
We hope to have our official classes settled on Friday, September 10th!
Our schools will continue to limit the number of adults in the building. We can be reached by calling 604-795-5312 or by emailing:
Please remember that school supply kits can be purchased from the classroom teacher. School supplies are $35 for Grades 1-5 and $40 for Kindergarten.
Our bell schedule for this year is:
8:21 Warning Bell
8:23 Classes in session
1:00 Classes resume
2:20 Dismissal (except for the first day which is 10:25)
Enjoy your last few days of summer!
Lisa Wallace and Sharilyn Mordaunt
Welcome to Robertson Elementary School!
Robertson is an amazing school full of approximately 280 students, ranging from kindergarten to grade five, with 40 incredible staff and an outstanding community spirit and support! We follow stringent health and safety protocols to keep our staff and students safe and to minimize the risk of Covid-19 transmission. As always, we continue to work hard to keep our school community healthy.
Effective March 30, 2021, it is mandatory for ALL students from Grades 4-12 to wear masks while indoors, even while sitting in classroom environments. Already in effect is an order for all staff to be wearing masks.
Registration 2021 - 2022
Registration for Kindergarten is open!
Full Day Kindergarten registration for the 2021-2022 school year is underway. If your child will be five (5) years old by December 31, 2021, please register online. You will need to upload your child’s birth certificate and proof of residence when registering. We are strongly encouraging families who are planning to register at Robertson Elementary to do so as soon as possible as our Kindergarten classes fill up quickly and we want to ensure your child has a spot!

This includes registration for Kindergarten, French Immersion, and out-of-catchment requests. Please note: you will be required to provide a valid email address and to upload a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a proof of residency.
